Finding Them Homes is funded primarily through donations and fundraising efforts.

We are always in need of supplies such as blankets, collars, leashes, towels, dog crates, brushes, etc that we use for dogs being fostered as well as for dogs in remote communities. We can pick up donations, or you can drop them off at one of several locations (see locations at right). We appreciate all donations, large or small.
As a registered Canadian charity, Finding Them Homes is authorized to provide tax receipts for qualified donations with a value of $15 or more. Note that tax receipts may also be provided for donations of goods and supplies provided they are new, in original packaging, and are accompanied by a store receipt (for detailed tax-related information please see the section on “Tax Receipt Guidelines” below).
If you drop off a donation of goods or supplies and wish to receive a tax receipt early next year, please include a note with your full name (including middle initial), complete postal address, phone number, and your email address printed legibly.

We have launched our Finding Them Homes Store with ‘Spreadshirt’. Orders are made directly online and shipped to your home address. The store will always be open, there are no deadlines for ordering. Each item has a percentage of the cost going straight to Finding Them Homes. Shipping ranges from $5.50 to $10 depending on the amount of your purchase.

Allocation of Contributions
This chart shows how Finding Them Homes has used the funds from donations and fundraising events that have been entrusted to us. As you can see, the majority of our expenses are related to providing veterinary care (examinations, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, urgent surgeries, micro-chipping, medications, etc) for rescued dogs. Our next largest expense category, travel and vehicle expenses, is related to costs incurred to travel to and conduct vet clinics in northern communities, and to cover approved expenses when volunteers rescue dogs from remote communities, often on an emergency basis.Please contact us should you have any questions.
